This Privacy Policy describes how Invy Alerts – Low Stock ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Shopify application.

Invy Alerts collects the following information:

• Merchant email address: Used to send inventory alert notifications
• Alert threshold setting: Your configured inventory level threshold for receiving alerts

This information is collected directly from you when you configure the app settings.

Invy Alerts does not access, collect, or store:

• Customer personal information (names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses)
• Customer order history or purchase data
• Payment information
• Any other customer personally identifiable information (PII)

The app monitors inventory levels only and does not interact with customer data.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

• To send email alerts when product inventory levels drop below your configured threshold
• To maintain your app settings and preferences

We do not use your information for marketing purposes, and we do not sell or share your information with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (see Third-Party Services below).

Your merchant email address and alert threshold setting are stored securely on our servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard security practices.

Shopify Webhooks

Invy Alerts uses Shopify's inventory_levels/update webhook to monitor inventory changes. This webhook provides inventory level data only and does not include any customer information.

Third-Party Services

We use a third-party email service provider to send inventory alert emails. This provider processes your email address solely for the purpose of delivering transactional alert emails. The provider is contractually obligated to protect your information and may not use it for any other purpose.

When you uninstall Invy Alerts from your Shopify store:

• All stored data (merchant email address and alert threshold setting) is permanently deleted from our servers
• All webhook subscriptions are removed
• No data is retained after uninstallation

You may also request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the information provided below.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Uninstall the app at any time, which will result in automatic data deletion

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
